Software Development Engineer, Modeling and Optimization

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their supply chain optimization team. This role focuses on developing cutting-edge systems for transportation and fulfillment networks. You'll be part of a full-stack team building interactive web applications to visualize Amazon's end-to-end supply chain and enable deep analysis of business metrics and performance. The position involves working with terabytes of data and implementing GenAI chatbots for supply chain analysis.

As part of a science organization, you'll collaborate with research scientists specializing in Optimization, Control theory, and Machine Learning. The role offers unique opportunities to build real-time Big Data applications using AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Kinesis, Glue, EMR, Redshift, DynamoDB, and QuickSight.

The team consists of Software Development Engineers and Data Engineers who build full-stack Big Data applications from scratch. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, testing, and deploying data visualization products. The immediate focus is on providing detailed visibility into the North American inbound supply chain segment.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 based on location, plus equity, sign-on bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
