Software Development Engineer, New Business Innovation

As a Software Development Engineer in the New Business Innovation team, you'll:

• Work full-stack across front-end and back-end codebases
• Own interfaces between distinct phases of the product purchasing pipeline
• Lead the software development lifecycle on multiple simultaneous projects
• Participate in on-call rotations to address live-site issues
• Continuously improve operational excellence and team efficiency

You'll be part of Amazon Custom, developing and maintaining a framework for personalized, customized, or configurable products and services globally. This role requires exceptional technical expertise, strong ownership, leadership experience, and the ability to deliver creative solutions for complex problems in large systems.

Key qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices
• Experience with modern programming languages like Java, C++, or C#
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Preferred skills:

• Experience with JavaScript, SOA, AWS technologies, and Agile methodologies
• Strong customer focus and passion for data-driven improvements
