AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their Perimeter Protection team, focusing on AWS Network Firewall services. This role is part of the team that owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, supporting data centers, servers, storage, networking, and security equipment worldwide.

The position involves working on AWS Network Firewall, a service that defends Internet-facing applications against evolving threats. You'll be developing everything from low-level packet inspection hardware/software to customer-facing AWS services and globally distributed systems capable of mitigating sophisticated cyber-attacks.

As a Software Development Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in designing and developing new capabilities for the recently launched AWS Network Firewall service. You'll work alongside diverse teams of software, hardware, and network engineers, collaborating on critical cybersecurity solutions at an unprecedented scale.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment where code is shipped daily.
