AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their Perimeter Protection team, focusing on AWS Network Firewall services. This role is part of the team that owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. The position involves working on critical cybersecurity systems, including AWS Network Firewall, AWS Shield, AWS WAF, and AWS Firewall Manager, which protect some of the world's largest networks from sophisticated cyber-attacks.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing new capabilities for the recently launched AWS Network Firewall service. You'll be working in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment where code is shipped daily, and you'll have the opportunity to influence the design, development, and deployment of new services. The role requires expertise in distributed systems design and excellent analytical and communication skills.
