Software Development Engineer, Perimeter Protection (Network Firewall)

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join their Perimeter Protection (Network Firewall) team. This role is crucial in maintaining AWS's global infrastructure, focusing on cybersecurity and network protection. The team builds everything from low-level packet inspection hardware/software to customer-facing AWS services, including AWS Network Firewall, AWS Shield, AWS WAF, and AWS Firewall Manager.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development and system architecture, with a strong background in cybersecurity and distributed systems. You'll be working on critical cybersecurity attack mitigation capabilities at a massive scale, designing and developing new services that protect some of the world's largest networks and customers.
