Description For Software Development Engineer, Pricing Systems

The Pricing Systems team at Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their centralized technology and machine learning team within the WW Retail Pricing organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on strategic solutions and platforms that drive innovations in price perception, optimization, and competitiveness.

As an SDE in the Pricing team, you'll collaborate with top-tier software engineers, research scientists, and product managers to develop optimal pricing solutions for Amazon's vast product catalog. The role involves designing sophisticated architectures, building robust software systems, and implementing solutions that scale globally.

The position requires strong technical expertise, with a focus on system design, scalability, and reliability. You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards in architecture, quality, and delivery while mentoring junior engineers and working alongside senior team members. The team develops technical solutions for Amazon's retail business using competitor data and ML/science as primary inputs.
