Software Development Engineer, Project Haul

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer for Project Haul, an exciting new shopping experience in the Amazon Shopping app that offers affordable products priced at $20 or less. This role is part of a high-visibility initiative with plans for worldwide expansion in 2025. You'll be joining at the ground level of this innovative project launched in November 2024, working on a discovery-driven customer experience that connects US customers with ultra-affordable products shipped directly from manufacturers.

As an SDE on the Project Haul team, you'll have the opportunity to work across the entire retail technology stack, from frontend shopping experiences to backend supply chain systems. The role involves architecting and developing solutions for homepage, product details, search, personalization, accounting, pricing, tax, returns, and delivery experience.

The position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 based on location, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. You'll be working in Seattle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that impact millions of customers globally.
