Description For Software Development Engineer, Project Kuiper

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious initiative to revolutionize global connectivity through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). As a Software Development Engineer on the Customer eCommerce Services team, you'll play a crucial role in developing the software applications and services for this advanced global communications service.

The team is responsible for managing the complete customer lifecycle for communications services, including identity and account management, subscriber management, billing and payments, customer support tools, and analytics. You'll be working on critical e-Commerce software that directly impacts Kuiper's mission to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities worldwide.

In this role, you'll collaborate with engineers across the organization, building e-Commerce functions on AWS infrastructure and implementing best practices for software development. Your responsibilities will include developing code, creating CI/CD pipelines, implementing test automation, and building monitoring dashboards. You'll also help develop solutions for provisioning and operating Internet service provider systems.
