Amazon's Transportation Risk and Compliance Team (TRC) is seeking talented engineers to build and develop large-scale distributed technology solutions for managing transportation risk and compliance. The team protects Amazon's transportation businesses by implementing scalable risk management solutions that foster continued business growth.

The role involves building a world-class web/mobile audit platform, solving complex algorithmic problems, and creating tools for multi-party business scenarios. You'll work on systems that audit across multiple transportation segments and modes, both within and across international borders, requiring highly available and scalable distributed systems.

As a Software Development Engineer, you'll be part of a team that strives to exceed customer expectations by ensuring shipments are delivered quickly, safely, and compliantly.   • BS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 2+ years of contributing to architecture and design of new and current systems
  • Experience with object-oriented design
