Description For Software Development Engineer, UTR, Last Mile

Amazon's Last Mile delivery technology team is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their UTR Tech organization. This role focuses on building scalable tools and technology for Amazon's worldwide delivery hubs within the Amazon Logistics (AMZL) network. You'll be working on the Node Receive COD team, handling critical processes for package receiving, routing, and cash-on-delivery reconciliations.

As an SDE-2, you'll be at the forefront of developing solutions that directly impact delivery station operations, working with mobile-based applications like Dolphin for execution operations. The role offers an opportunity to work on systems that affect millions of package deliveries daily, optimizing processes for delivery station associates, managers, and delivery agents.

The position requires strong technical expertise in building scalable, high-performing systems while maintaining architectural soundness. You'll be responsible for establishing technical standards and contributing to Amazon's overall technical architecture.
