Amazon Prime is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join their team in building an innovative platform for real-time insights. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with one of the world's largest and most complex data environments, focusing on providing crucial customer insights for Amazon Prime services.

As a Data Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of architecting and implementing new automated Business Intelligence solutions. You'll work with cutting-edge AWS technologies to build a platform that processes real-time data for marketing, retail, finance, analytics, and machine learning teams. This platform will provide Amazon leadership and stakeholders with timely access to customer insights.

Responsibilities For Software Development Engineer, WW Prime - Core Services

  • Own design and execution of end to end projects
  • Manage WW Prime core services data infrastructure
  • Establish key relationships across Amazon business units and Business Intelligence teams
  • Implement standardized, automated operational and quality control processes
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring for data engineers
  • Partner with business leaders to drive strategy and prioritize projects
  • Write and review business cases and drive development process from design to release

Requirements For Software Development Engineer, WW Prime - Core Services

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of design or architecture experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Experience with full software development life cycle (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred)
