Description For Software Development Manager III, Infra-STORM Manager

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking an experienced people manager to lead a group of System and Software Development Engineers who create software-based solutions for Data Center global operations. This role is crucial in bridging gaps between our capabilities and unique customer requirements, particularly for U.S. Intelligence Community agencies.

As a Software Development Manager III, you'll be responsible for driving software development roadmaps, leading prioritization, and managing design requirements. You'll oversee the complete lifecycle of products from design to deployment, ensuring operational excellence through continuous improvement and standardization.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical leadership with strong people management skills. You'll be joining AWS Infrastructure Services, the team responsible for keeping the cloud running by managing all AWS global infrastructure, including data centers, servers, storage, networking, and cooling equipment.
