Solutions Architect, National Security Solutions Architecture Team

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Solutions Architect to support US Government customers in the Northern Virginia \ DC Metro area. The ideal candidate will help Intelligence Community agencies implement innovative cloud computing solutions, solve technical problems, and understand application architectures and integration approaches.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partner with customers, AWS Sales, and other AWS teams to craft scalable cloud architectures
• Drive revenue growth across a broad set of customers
• Help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions
• Shape and execute strategy to build mindshare and broad use of AWS within the Intelligence Community
• Conduct training sessions and contribute to customer-facing publications
• Build relationships with senior technical individuals within customer organizations

The role requires:

• Strong technical skills in cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, and networking
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience in software/technology sales or consulting
• Ability to connect technology with measurable business value
• Passion for working with Intelligence Community customers
• US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
