As a Sr Business Intelligence Engineer, you'll collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product managers to innovate in distributed simulations for population dynamics forecasting and expense planning. The role requires deep expertise in data engineering, machine learning, and business intelligence, with a focus on delivering actionable insights for financial decision-making.
Key responsibilities include developing scalable analytics tools, implementing KPI dashboards, and designing metrics that drive key supply chain and financial decisions. Responsibilities For Sr Business Intel Engineer, PXT Finance - ML Forecasting and Core Engineering
- Develop and implement scalable analytics, tools, KPI dashboards, and metrics
- Design and implement metrics dashboards for cost structures and HC models
- Collaborate with Finance, Cost and Account teams for analytics solutions
- Apply automation for maximum scale and self-service ability
- Interface with Data Engineers, Business Analysts and stakeholders
- Employ data mining and analytical techniques for Finance trends
- Participate in strategic planning and requirement gathering
- Lead automation initiatives across the Finance org
- Implement BI solutions using AWS stack (Sagemaker, Redshift, S3, etc.)
Requirements For Sr Business Intel Engineer, PXT Finance - ML Forecasting and Core Engineering
- 10+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience in scripting for automation (Python) and advanced SQL skills
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
