Responsibilities For Sr Business Intelligence Engineer, Alexa Shopping
- Serve as a technical leader and mentor for junior Business Intelligence Engineers
- Drive strategic alignment between analytics initiatives and organizational goals
- Work closely with Alexa Shopping Product and Engineering leadership
- Lead cross-feature analysis initiatives
- Establish and maintain partnerships with Data Engineering
- Build scalable solutions using analytics tools and languages
- Propose and prioritize changes to reporting systems
- Drive complex quantitative analyses
- Lead A/B testing strategies
- Collaborate with finance and cross-functional partners
- Communicate complex analytical findings to diverse audiences
Requirements For Sr Business Intelligence Engineer, Alexa Shopping
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience building measures and metrics, and developing reporting solutions
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Capacity to independently lead and execute E2E insight projects
- Experience in Business Intelligence (BI), Analytics, and Data Engineering (DE)
