Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer, AMZL Strategic Planning

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Strategic Planning-Analytics & Science team is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to drive high-visibility, strategic analytics solutions. This role is crucial in streamlining Amazon's operations through innovative data and science products.

As a Senior BIE, you'll lead business analytics, science & automation initiatives in partnership with Research & Data Scientists, Supply Chain leaders, and Engineers. The position focuses on designing and supporting best-in-class business analytics solutions for Topology Planning and Capacity Planning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Topology Planning and Capacity Engineering leaders to identify analytical needs
• Design and develop solutions using AWS S3, Redshift, Athena, Quicksight, and Tableau
• Work with predictive science-based automation solutions
• Mentor BIEs and collaborate with Research Scientists
• Drive innovation in data handling and process simplification

The role is part of AMZL (Amazon Logistics), which handles the crucial last-mile delivery operations. The AMZL network is experiencing significant growth across North America and Emerging Markets, focusing on delivering superior customer experience. The Strategic Planning Team plays a vital role in developing the 1-5 year network expansion roadmap.
