Description For Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer, CloudTune

Amazon's eCommerce Foundation (eCF) is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join their CloudTune team, which is crucial in managing AWS capacity and business processes for Amazon's Stores, Digital, and Other (SDO) businesses. This role is part of the strategic Diversify AWS Region Usage (DARU) program, aimed at mitigating capacity concentration risks across AWS regions.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $117,300 to $202,800, depending on location and experience. You'll work alongside scientists, software engineers, and product managers on applied machine learning problems in time series modeling. The role requires extensive experience with SQL, Python, and AWS technologies, along with strong analytical and statistical skills.

You'll be responsible for driving key insights through complex analysis and supporting critical business decisions. The role requires 10+ years of professional experience and deep expertise in data manipulation and statistical analysis.

The position is based in Seattle and offers comprehensive benefits including medical coverage, financial benefits, and equity compensation. You'll be part of a highly visible, multi-year program spanning all Amazon business units, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a significant impact at scale.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with business stakeholders, managing large datasets, and communicating results to senior leadership.
