This role offers a unique opportunity to work on multimillion-dollar projects across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

As a Sr. Construction Cost Engineer, you'll be integral to providing cost support and guidance to the Data Centre project delivery team. You'll work alongside experts from design, construction, procurement, finance, and legal teams to ensure efficient cost management throughout the full lifecycle of construction projects.

The role demands a strong background in construction cost control, with at least 8 years of experience and specific knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or CSA cost elements. You'll be responsible for validating construction cost estimates, identifying value engineering opportunities, and managing third-party Quantity Surveyors. The position requires excellent communication skills to effectively relay cost control goals to all stakeholders.

AWS Infrastructure Services, which owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, provides an environment where you'll work on challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain. You'll join a diverse team of professionals, including software, hardware, and network engineers, working to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for customers.

The company culture emphasizes work-life harmony, inclusivity, and continuous learning. Amazon values diverse experiences and provides numerous opportunities for career growth through knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and employee-led affinity groups. The role offers the chance to be part of a team that's literally keeping the cloud running while contributing to the world's most comprehensive cloud platform.

This position is perfect for someone who combines technical expertise in construction cost control with strong analytical and communication skills, and who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment where they can make a significant impact on global infrastructure development.
