Sr Construction Manager

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to join their team responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure. This role is crucial in keeping the cloud running by managing the construction of state-of-the-art data centers. The position requires extensive experience in construction management, particularly with large-scale MEP plants and data center infrastructure.

As a Senior Construction Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing complex construction projects, managing contractors, ensuring quality control, and maintaining project schedules and budgets. You'll work directly with cross-functional teams including Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning to build data centers that support AWS customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with at least 7 years of construction management experience. You'll need to understand data center system-level architecture, electrical engineering principles, and mechanical engineering principles for cooling systems. Professional certifications such as PE, LEED, or CCM are highly valued.
