Sr Controls Standards Engineer - Colo sites, Colocation Design Standards (CoDeS)

AWS Infrastructure Services is at the heart of AWS's global infrastructure, responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS data centers worldwide. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing AWS's colocation data centers.

As a Colo Design Standards Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining consistent colocation design standards
• Supporting new AWS product deployments in colocation data centers
• Contributing to global design standards and data centre template designs
• Collaborating with regional colo engineering teams
• Working with global colocation partners
• Providing technical guidance for key global colocation programs

The position requires:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in colocation data centres
• Expertise in control and monitoring systems
• Strong documentation and business case analysis skills

The role involves working with diverse teams across AMER, EMEA, and APAC regions, with up to 25% international travel. You'll be part of the Colocation Design Standards (CoDeS) team, driving global standardization of technical solutions for AWS Colocation sites.
