Sr. Customer Success Engineer, Amazon Redshift

Amazon Redshift is looking for a Customer Success Engineer who possesses a unique balance of technical knowledge, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. We are seeking a motivated technologist specializing in data warehousing or database systems, excited to work with some of the largest and most advanced Redshift customers.

In this role, you will:

• Support Redshift engineering, product, and operations
• Work directly with large and important customers to identify and resolve issues
• Assist pre-sales deals to onboard large-scale customers
• Automate repetitive processes
• Work closely with business and support teams
• Prioritize operational issues
• Communicate roadmaps with customers
• Develop a deep understanding of system architecture and customer use-cases

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent communication skills
• Customer obsession
• Deep experience with data warehouse technologies, preferably in large-scale, distributed environments
• Comfort with networking and distributed architecture topics
• Enthusiasm for digging deep
• Sharp technical communication skills
• Strong prioritization and organization abilities
