The position involves working with one of the world's largest data lake and warehouse environments, utilizing AWS services to build and maintain robust data pipelines.
As a Sr. Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that process large volumes of data from various sources. You'll work on Tahoe, the core data platform that delivers intraday data to power partner-facing products and internal measurements for 15 products. The role requires expertise in AWS data processing services, data security, and compliance standards.
The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies including S3 with Apache Iceberg, Glue/EMR, AWS Step Functions, Redshift, Lambda, and CloudWatch. You'll collaborate with product managers, technical program managers, and software engineers while contributing to the growth of Prime Video's partner ecosystem.
The compensation package is competitive, ranging from $139,100 to $240,500 per year, depending on location, with additional benefits including equity, sign-on payments, and comprehensive medical coverage. This role requires 5+ years of data engineering experience and strong expertise in SQL and modern programming languages.
