  • Lead multi-disciplinary team to achieve AWS-wide outcomes
  • Identify and develop technologies for customers ahead of when required
  • Engineer in diverse technology domains including hardware, firmware, embedded software
  • Establish strategic vision and drive tactical execution
  • Design, build, validate, and operate AWS server systems
  • Manage internal and external teams in development and manufacturing

Requirements For Sr. Development Manager - AWS Component Hardware

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience with product definition, financial metrics and customer-facing experience
  • Experience managing cross-functional organizations and external design partners
  • 10+ years of experience across hardware, firmware, and embedded software development
  • 5+ years of experience building and managing high performance platform teams
  • Expertise in server motherboard design, PCB design including schematic capture
  • DFx (Design for cost, test, manufacturing) expertise
