Sr. Electrical Engineer Manager, DC Design Engineering

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer Manager to join their Data Center Design Engineering team. This role is crucial in maintaining AWS's global infrastructure, supporting all AWS data centers including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. The position offers a unique opportunity to work on challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain.

As a Sr. Electrical Engineer Manager, you'll lead a team of electrical engineers in designing critical infrastructure systems for data centers. You'll be responsible for taking designs from concept to permit and construction document sets, while ensuring they meet quality and budgetary requirements. The role involves collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including utilities, manufacturers, vendors, and contractors.

The position is based in Herndon, VA, with up to 20% domestic travel required to data centers throughout the AMER region. International support and travel will also be part of the job.
