Responsibilities For Sr. Embedded Engineer, Amazon Robotics

  • Develop and maintain safety and non-safety rated systems for autonomous robot fleet
  • Master multiple components including networking/wifi, security, and various sensors
  • Participate in system architecture and collaborate with coworkers
  • Provide feedback in peer review process and communicate with technical leadership
  • Create solutions balancing performance and safety
  • Develop, test, and debug robotic systems
  • Participate in design process and safety hazard analysis
  • Implement new products and features
  • Write automated tests and perform live testing

Requirements For Sr. Embedded Engineer, Amazon Robotics

Linux
  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture experience
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
  • 5+ years of development experience in C or C++ within an embedded environment
  • Direct hands-on experience with consumer electronics, medical devices, automotive systems, avionics, industrial, or telecommunications products
