Description For Sr. EU Site Process Engineer, EU PE

Amazon is seeking talented Site Process Engineers to join their EU Process Engineering (EU PE) team. This role represents a unique opportunity to drive operational excellence and innovation within Amazon's fulfillment network. As a Site Process Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of process improvement and optimization, working directly with senior leadership teams while maintaining strong collaboration with EU PE functions.

The position offers a perfect blend of strategic thinking and hands-on implementation, where you'll be responsible for deploying initiatives, building networks, and driving compliance within assigned timelines. You'll play a crucial role in identifying and implementing improvement opportunities, translating them into tangible productivity and efficiency gains in the Fulfillment Centers.

Key aspects of the role include leading Back to Basics initiatives, driving continuous improvement, owning EU network initiative deployments, and fostering strong partnerships with FC Operations. You'll be part of the EU PE team, a group of operational leaders driving process stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement across the EU Customer Fulfillment Network.

Responsibilities For Sr. EU Site Process Engineer, EU PE

  • Work on Back to Basics initiatives identifying top opportunities in FC
  • Oversee FC improvement program and set focus on important areas
  • Drive network best practice implementation
  • Own deployment of EU network initiatives
  • Partner with FC Operations through daily Gemba walks
  • Organize weekly LSC Meeting with FC Leadership Team
  • Support or lead EU Projects
  • Drive process stabilization and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with central PE functions and other Site PEs

Requirements For Sr. EU Site Process Engineer, EU PE

Java
Python
  • Degree from an accredited institution
  • Experience in Operations as an Area Manager or comparable experience
  • High proficiency of technical knowledge of at least one process path (Quriosity silver/gold certification)
  • Strong professional experience with Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills and detail orientation
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel 0-10% within area of responsibility
