The Principal Engineer (PE) Recruiting Team at Amazon's Executive Staffing Organization is seeking a Research Recruiter to help scale their Principal Engineering Community. This role focuses on hiring Principal, Senior Principal, and Distinguished Engineers – Amazon's most senior technical contributors. As a Sr. Executive Research Recruiter, you'll be responsible for owning and executing Principal Engineer searches, managing relationships with senior executives, and creating robust hiring strategies. The role requires expertise in senior executive technical search, particularly in candidate identification, engagement, development, and creative sourcing.
The PE Research Team's mission is to identify, build relationships with, and hire every great Principal Engineer globally. They follow key tenets including thorough research methodology, building diverse candidate pipelines, and maintaining long-term candidate relationships while addressing urgent business needs.
Working in this role, you'll collaborate with a strong, established recruiting team of Client Lead and Research Recruiters. You'll need to quickly learn new tech domains, craft effective search strategies, and communicate compellingly with senior executives. The position offers exposure to highly confidential searches and the opportunity to influence Amazon's technical leadership.
The role combines strategic thinking with tactical execution, requiring both research acumen and superb communication skills. You'll be expected to contribute to Amazon's knowledge base by providing education on relevant industries and talent pools, while continuously improving talent acquisition capabilities at the senior level.
Benefits include a competitive base salary range of $110,000 to $212,600 depending on location, plus equity, sign-on payments, and comprehensive medical and financial benefits.
