Sr. Front-End Engineer, AWS Amplify Console

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Front-End Engineer to join the AWS Amplify Console team. AWS Amplify is a full-stack platform designed to simplify the creation, deployment, and management of modern web and mobile applications. This role offers the opportunity to shape the user experience for developers building and deploying cloud-powered apps.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading front-end architecture design for large-scale applications
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build intuitive user experiences
• Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of innovation
• Working closely with UX designers to implement and enhance user interfaces
• Staying current with industry trends and best practices
• Participating in the end-to-end deployment lifecycle of features

As a Senior Front-End Engineer, you will work closely with product managers, UX designers, and back-end engineers to create seamless, performant, and scalable front-end solutions. You will design and develop user interfaces that integrate with the AWS console and contribute to shaping new features that enhance the overall developer experience.

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of front-end development experience
• Experience with MVC/MVM frameworks (e.g., React.js, AngularJS, Vue)
• Knowledge of web services technologies (SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, REST)
• Experience in web applications design and development
• Collaboration skills with various stakeholders
• Experience with test-driven development
• Strong knowledge of web performance optimization techniques

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and best practices

Amazon offers a competitive compensation package, including equity and a range of benefits. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,700/year to $261,500/year, depending on the geographic market and other factors.
