Sr. Industrial Designer, SSD Design Engineering

Amazon's Rural and Rapid Logistics Design team (R2L) is seeking an experienced Industrial Designer to join their Design Engineering team. This role focuses on developing next-generation fulfillment, delivery, and transportation systems, supporting the expansion of Rural Delivery and Sub Same Day delivery networks. The position involves process engineering, building design, and standardization across Last Mile delivery operations.

The ideal candidate will drive the design and optimization of delivery and sortation networks, ensuring operations meet safety, customer experience, quality, and cost goals. They will evaluate options from basic to automated solutions, providing data-driven recommendations. The role requires expertise in creating detailed technical drawings, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
