As a Sr. Interdisciplinary Systems Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing and implementing the technical architecture for Amazon's EV charging systems.

The position combines hardware and software expertise, requiring deep technical knowledge in connectivity, communications interfaces, and systems engineering.   • Develop technical strategy for controllers and lead development of new products
  • Define connectivity standards for charging infrastructure
  • Develop detailed understanding of charging system architecture
  • Identify methods to monitor/improve performance
  • Lead multi-disciplinary technology teams
  • Facilitate and communicate architecture and system design with partner teams
  • Address safety, reliability, usability and deployment at Amazon scale

Requirements For Sr. Int. Systems Engineer, EV Charging, AMZL-Energy

Linux
  • BS in an engineering discipline and 8+ years working in an engineering role
  • Understanding of systems engineering tools and best practices
  • Experience identifying and analyzing dependencies, tradeoffs, and sensitivities across multi-disciplinary systems
  • Experience leading technical collaborations and creating alignment across diverse groups
  • Experience with eliciting and clarifying business and end user needs
  • Experience taking systems through the entire product lifecycle
