Sr Manager, Tech Ops Eng

Amazon is seeking a Senior Manager of Technical Operations Engineering to lead their Data Center Clusters and Colocation Operations. This role represents the senior-most Infrastructure Operations position within the region, overseeing critical aspects of Amazon's cloud computing infrastructure.

The position involves leading multiple teams across Data Center Operations (DCO) and Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO), while working closely with physical security teams. You'll be responsible for managing the world's largest cloud computing infrastructure, tackling complex technical challenges daily.

As Cluster Operations Leader, you'll oversee server-level platforms supporting both Amazon Retail and AWS, along with mechanical, electrical, and controls systems. The role demands a unique blend of technical expertise and leadership skills, as you'll need to dive deep into technical challenges while building and leading high-performing teams.

Key focus areas include safety, security, availability, scaling, efficiency, and cost management. You'll drive operational excellence through process refinement and development, working with state-of-the-art technology and infrastructure.
