Sr. Manufacturing Engineer, Hardware Engineering - Manufacturing

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their Hardware Engineering team in building the world's leading cloud computing platform. This role is crucial in maintaining AWS's global infrastructure and ensuring the quality of hardware manufacturing processes.

The position involves working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you'll collaborate with ODMs, CMs, internal AWS hardware and software development teams, and upstream component vendors. Your primary focus will be on monitoring and improving the incoming hardware quality of AWS products, both proactively in the design phase and through ongoing quality management.

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you'll take full ownership of manufacturing launches and process issue resolution. You'll be responsible for getting production up and running efficiently, investigating hardware failures, and addressing gaps in supplier manufacturing processes. The role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to work with cross-functional teams across AWS's global operations.

AWS Infrastructure Services is at the heart of keeping the cloud running, supporting all AWS data centers and managing servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $128,600 to $213,600 per year, depending on location and experience.
