Description For Sr. Post Silicon Engineer

Project Kuiper, an ambitious Amazon initiative, is revolutionizing global connectivity through a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites. As a Senior Post Silicon Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of validating and characterizing cutting-edge MODEM SOC technology that will bring high-speed broadband to underserved communities worldwide.

In this role, you'll own the critical post-silicon validation of Embedded Processors, PLL, SRAM, DDR, and SERDES components. Working with a dynamic team, you'll ensure the successful integration and performance of MODEM SOC in Project Kuiper products. Your expertise in test automation, high-speed interfaces, and system-level debugging will be essential.

The position requires strong technical skills in SOC/ASIC validation, familiarity with various protocols (I2C, SPI, I3C, eMMC), and proficiency with bench-top instruments. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, DV, Architects, and Manufacturing, making this an excellent opportunity for those who thrive in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities For Sr. Post Silicon Engineer

  • Define, Own and maintain Validation/Characterization plan for MODEM SOC and associated peripherals
  • Define, Design and Bring Up SOC Test Platforms
  • Own test automation and testbenches for validation of high-speed interfaces and other Peripherals
  • Drive System Level Debugs working alongside Design, DV, Architects and Manufacturing teams
  • Work in FPGA, Emulators and DV Environment to ensure successful Bring Up

Requirements For Sr. Post Silicon Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 6+ years of work experience in Bring Up, Validation and characterization of SOC or ASIC
  • Familiarity with protocols such as I2C, SPI, I3C and eMMC
  • Experience using Bench top instruments
  • Working knowledge of Python and Embedded C
  • Familiarity using Lauterbach or other JTAG Based debuggers
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or refugee/asylee due to export control requirements
