Description For Sr. Privacy Engineer - Incident Response, Devices & Services Trust & Privacy (DSTP)

Amazon's Devices and Services Trust and Privacy (DSTP) team is seeking an experienced privacy and security engineering leader to join their Privacy Risk & Incident Management team. This role is crucial in maintaining and elevating trust standards across Amazon's diverse portfolio of 30+ Devices and Services.

The position involves leading the privacy incident response engineering team, focusing on effective detection, response, and mitigation of privacy and trust incidents. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining DSTP's incident response infrastructure while working closely with various stakeholders including legal, business leaders, and engineers.

As a Sr. Privacy Engineer, you'll be part of the Trust Fundamentals (TrustFun) organization, which builds technologies and programs at Amazon scale to enhance customer trust and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires a strong background in privacy and security, with at least 7 years of experience in managing high-volume workflow processes and incident response.

The position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $143,300 to $247,600 per year, depending on location and experience. Additional benefits include equity, sign-on payments, and comprehensive medical and financial benefits.

Key responsibilities include providing strategic leadership, owning incident response infrastructure, assessing privacy risks, and establishing mitigation strategies.
