Amazon Lab126, established in 2004 as a subsidiary of Amazon.com, is at the forefront of consumer electronics innovation, known for creating successful products like Kindle, Fire tablets, Fire TV, and Amazon Echo. They are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join their Amazon Devices Reverse Logistics (ADRL) team.

This role represents a unique opportunity to shape the quality management of Amazon's device returns and services. You'll be responsible for ensuring superior customer experience through the entire reverse logistics process, from returns to reintegration.

Responsibilities For Sr. Quality Engineer, Amazon Devices Reverse Logistics (ADRL)

  • Ensure devices returns and services provide quality and continuously improving customer experience
  • Own business KPIs including establishing organizational goals and reporting to leadership
  • Lead cross-functional teams focused on improvement
  • Assess risk of new and unique processes for devices portfolio
  • Create and own operational quality management tools for customer returns
  • Establish quality goals and monitor performance
  • Investigate root causes and validate implementation of corrective actions
  • Support change announcement and implementation throughout product lifecycle
  • Facilitate device capture and failure analysis processes

Requirements For Sr. Quality Engineer, Amazon Devices Reverse Logistics (ADRL)

  • BSME/BSIE/BSEE or related Engineering degree
  • 7+ years of experience in process engineering, operations engineering and/or quality role
  • 7+ years of experience with statistical tools, KPI management, and/or performance improvement
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work with and influence others
  • Travel up to 20%
