Description For Sr. Satellite Systems Engineer, System Reliability

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious initiative to revolutionize global connectivity through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). This role is for a Senior Systems Engineer position within the satellite development organization, focusing on spacecraft architecture and system reliability. The position combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, requiring deep knowledge of spacecraft systems and the ability to work across multiple teams.

The role demands expertise in functional decomposition, requirements management, and interface control documentation. You'll be working in an MBSE-driven environment, maintaining engineering budgets, and developing comprehensive verification and validation plans. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a project that aims to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities worldwide.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you'll collaborate with various stakeholders, including design, test, and manufacturing teams. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $136,100 to $235,200 based on location and experience, plus additional benefits including equity and sign-on payments. This is a chance to work on cutting-edge space technology while making a significant impact on global internet accessibility.
