Sr. Security Engineer, Kuiper Security

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband network connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

As a Sr. Security Engineer on the Security team, you'll be responsible for the operational security of the constellation end-to-end. The team provides critical infrastructure for secure communications and strong authentication, ensuring customer confidentiality and constellation security. You'll work in a startup-like culture to develop and deploy mission-critical security systems.

The role offers a unique opportunity to develop software for an advanced satellite broadband telecom service. You'll be working with a diverse, multi-disciplinary security engineering team to set security best practices and develop complex systems. The position involves collaborating with peer teams, designing security systems, and mentoring team members.

• Leading technical conversations and making design decisions for large-scale security services
• Utilizing AWS and other Amazon technologies to build highly available software services
• Working on cutting-edge satellite communications technology

The compensation is competitive, ranging from $143,300 to $247,600 per year based on location, plus additional benefits including equity and comprehensive medical coverage.
