Sr. Security Systems Engineer, DCE Security Solutions Engineering

AWS Data Center Engineering (DCE) Security Solutions Engineering team is seeking a Senior Security Systems Engineer to lead the design, configuration, and troubleshooting of networked security systems. This role combines technical network expertise with deep understanding of physical security technology and industry standards.

As part of AWS Infrastructure Services, you'll join the team responsible for keeping the cloud running through management of all AWS global infrastructure. You'll work alongside software, hardware, and network engineers, focusing on critical security systems including IP surveillance cameras, access control systems, and intrusion detection systems.

The role involves leading complex integrations of security systems, managing video monitoring technology in data centers, and translating business requirements into system specifications. You'll collaborate with electrical engineers, network engineers, and physical security engineers to ensure optimal performance and reliability of security infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include designing network layouts, maintaining security devices, conducting system audits, and developing standard operating procedures. You'll also lead training initiatives for data center technicians and participate in system engineering reviews.
