Description For Sr. Signal Integrity Engineer, Devices and Services

Amazon Devices, the team behind successful products like Kindle, Fire tablets, Fire TV, Amazon Dash, and Amazon Echo, is seeking a Senior Signal Integrity Engineer to join their innovative hardware development team. This role is part of a cross-functional team that focuses on ensuring hardware quality and performance during product development.

As a Sr. SI Validation Engineer, you'll be responsible for simulations, tests, and validation of high-speed digital interfaces on new products and components. You'll work closely with electrical engineering design, compliance, and software teams, operating at both PCB and product systems levels. The role combines technical expertise with collaborative teamwork, requiring skills in hardware optimization, debugging, and mentorship.

The position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $128,600 to $213,600 per year, depending on location and experience. Responsibilities For Sr. Signal Integrity Engineer, Devices and Services

  • Perform pre-layout and post-layout SI and PI simulations
  • Work with design teams to develop and execute validation plans
  • Tune custom hardware to optimize Signal Integrity and cross-functional performance
  • Work with design team to debug issues
  • Develop test set-ups and research new validation technologies
  • Develop firmware/scripts/applications to test the hardware
  • Provide functional verification of electrical subsystems
  • Report validation status
  • Mentor team members on Signal Integrity and Lab Validation best-practices

Requirements For Sr. Signal Integrity Engineer, Devices and Services
