Sr. SoC Modeling Engineer, Hardware Compute Group

The Amazon Devices team is at the forefront of consumer electronics innovation, creating beloved products like Kindle, Fire tablets, Fire TV, Amazon Echo, and the Astro personal robot. As a Senior SoC Modeling Engineer, you'll join the pre-silicon platform team, where you'll be instrumental in developing software models of custom SoCs for architectural exploration and early software development. This role combines hardware expertise with software modeling, requiring you to architect, build, and debug modeling environments for both custom in-house IPs and SoCs.

You'll collaborate with diverse teams across Product Architecture, Audio Technology, Computer Vision, Hardware Engineering, and Software Engineering, contributing to the development of world-class hardware devices. Your responsibilities will include architecting SW models for hardware IP and SoCs, implementing and testing these models using SystemC/C++, and defining methodologies for performance and power modeling.

The position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $143,300 to $247,600 based on location, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
