Sr Software Dev Engineer, AWS Billing (Level 6), AWS Simulators, AWS Billing

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for talented software engineers passionate about Big Data and distributed systems at trillions of transactions scale to help build the next generation of AWS internal services. Our applications process 270 million events per second and 20 terabytes of data per hour. The AWS Billing team is responsible for Metering Usage and Generating Monthly Charges, including AWS product pricing, subscriptions, discount programs, credit management, usage storage, bill computation, tax calculation, and storing bills for external customer consumption.

As a Sr Software Dev Engineer, you will:

• Lead a team of engineers to deliver impactful projects
• Build applications on cutting-edge AWS technologies like Kinesis, EMR, DynamoDB, Redshift, Aurora, and more
• Develop software that can radically change how AWS wins large customers over to the Cloud
• Own the full lifecycle of your systems
• Work on challenging problems at "Amazon Scale"
• Collaborate with some of the best in the business
