Sr Software Development Engineer, Amazon Fulfillment Technologies, Inbound Foundation and Routing Team

We are looking for Senior Software Development Engineers to join the AFT Inbound Foundations and Routing team (IBFR). This team is responsible for building core software components/services that orchestrate the movement of inventory within a warehouse and interfacing with sortation and SCOT systems for high fidelity promise and planning decisions. The systems you build will have a direct impact on the Top Line performance of the company to the tune of hundreds of millions (USD).

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating and delivering software and automated solutions for Amazon fulfillment centers worldwide
• Engaging multiple teams to design/develop and support large-scale, multi-tiered software applications and tools
• Building new software from the ground up and creating pragmatic solutions for complex business problems
• Working closely with operations staff in Amazon fulfillment centers around the world
• Influencing subsystem design and helping build a team culture around practices critical to a quality product
