Sr. Software Development Engineer, AWS Managed Services(AMS), AWS Kumo

The AWS Managed Services (AMS) development team is looking for an exceptional Sr Software Development Engineer to join our team, tasked with developing and evolving feature capabilities that enable accelerated adoption of AWS services for enterprise customers. This team is building exciting new product capabilities to deliver operational outcomes for customers, rapidly and simply, powered by a variety of AWS services including but not limited to API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, Cloud Development Kit, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, S3, DynamoDB, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and evolve feature capabilities for enterprise customers
• Build new product capabilities for rapid and simple delivery of operational outcomes

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Bachelor's degree or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base pay for this position ranges from $151,300/year in the lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in the highest geographic market, with additional compensation including equity, sign-on payments, and a full range of benefits.
