Description For Sr. Software Development Engineer, AWS Private Pricing, Private Pricing Analytics and Insights (PPA&I)

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join their Private Pricing Programs and Experiences Team (3PX) within the Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) organization. This role focuses on developing and innovating the Private Pricing Experience, which offers AWS customers commercial benefits in exchange for multi-year spend commitments.

The position involves working with AWS Services and Salesforce Technologies to build applications that enhance the experience for Private Pricing Customers, Sales Teams, and Operations Teams. You'll be responsible for architecting scalable solutions, developing AI-powered tools, and improving systems that drive the growth of AWS's Private Pricing program.

Responsibilities For Sr. Software Development Engineer, AWS Private Pricing, Private Pricing Analytics and Insights (PPA&I)

  • Architect, Design and build scalable and flexible, integrated solutions for Private Pricing
  • Develop tools leveraging Gen AI to improve process efficiency
  • Partner cross-functionally with other technology teams and leaders to develop solutions
  • Develop tools aligned to roadmap for Automated Private Pricing Experience
  • Improve tools and systems to elevate Private Pricing Seller and Customer experience

Requirements For Sr. Software Development Engineer, AWS Private Pricing, Private Pricing Analytics and Insights (PPA&I)

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred)
  • Experience building tooling on sales pipeline and/or pricing data (preferred)
  • Experience designing and building applications on AWS (preferred)
  • Experience building tooling that supports large-scale Salesforce implementations (preferred)
