  • Work with FireTV and FireOS developers, SoC vendors, ODMs, Hardware team, and technical program managers
  • Create new platform features
  • Customize BSP based on hardware designs
  • Address issues in platform areas like HAL, Linux Kernel, drivers, bootloader
  • Improve system performance and stability
  • Deliver high quality smart TV products

Requirements For Sr. Software Development Engineer, Smart TV Platform

Linux
  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
  • In-depth expertise working with Android system
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with Linux kernel development
  • Experience on bootloader and device drivers development
