Sr. Supplier Development Engineer, MHE Supplier Development

Amazon's Worldwide Procurement team is seeking a Senior Supplier Development Engineer to join their Material Handling Equipment (MHE) division. This role is crucial in developing and qualifying emerging technology within the MHE industry supplier base.

The position involves working with automated conveyor systems, packaging automation, robotic manipulation, and package sortation technologies. You'll be responsible for securing and developing supplier partnerships that drive industry MHE assessment and technology advancements for Amazon's global customer fulfillment, specialty fulfillment, and transportation buildings.

As a Senior SD Engineer, you'll lead large-scale, high-visibility projects in a cross-functional environment. The role requires expertise in integrated automation project lifecycle, contract manufacturing, controls, and technology sourcing. You'll work directly with various teams including Design, Operations, Procurement, and Safety to develop and execute MHE qualification plans.

The ideal candidate is a natural self-starter with strong leadership abilities and technical expertise.
