Description For Sr. Teamcenter Application Engineer, Kuiper

Project Kuiper, an ambitious Amazon initiative, is revolutionizing global connectivity through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). As a Senior PLM/CAD Application Engineer, you'll join a mission-critical team focused on bringing fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities worldwide.

The role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking, requiring you to manage and optimize PLM applications for Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Library Management. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies and interface with Enterprise systems, including ERP and Manufacturing tools. The position demands a blend of hands-on technical skills and architectural vision, particularly in Team Center PLM implementation.

In this fast-paced, startup-like environment within Amazon, you'll wear multiple hats - from solving immediate technical challenges to planning future infrastructure needs. Your responsibilities will include working directly with end users, automating processes, researching new technologies, and implementing solutions that enhance design rigor and productivity.

The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $122,000 to $210,800 per year, depending on location and experience, plus comprehensive benefits including equity. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a project that will literally change the world's connectivity landscape, working with advanced satellite technology while solving complex technical challenges.

As a U.S. citizen (required for export control compliance), you'll be part of an innovative team that values problem-solving and technical excellence. The position combines the excitement of a space technology venture with the stability and resources of one of the world's leading technology companies.
