Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious initiative to revolutionize global connectivity through a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites. As a Senior Technical Program Manager (Sr TPM) in this program, you'll be at the forefront of coordinating across the entire Kuiper program, maintaining critical program schedules and records.

The role demands expertise in end-to-end space systems and offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on a project that will connect millions worldwide. You'll work at the intersection of space and ground-based systems, coordinating with multiple teams to ensure successful program execution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining the Kuiper schedule and program of record (POR)
  • Creating detailed project execution plans with cross-functional dependencies
  • Managing technical requirements and their integration with program schedules
  • Participating in business reviews for ground system and service readiness
  • Driving effective teamwork across multiple groups with competing priorities
  • Making technical trade-off recommendations and resolving blocking issues

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $133,900 to $231,400 per year, depending on location, plus comprehensive benefits including equity and sign-on payments. Responsibilities For Sr TPM, Schedule & Program of Record, Kuiper Technical Program Management

  • Coordinate across entire Kuiper program
  • Maintain program schedule and program of record (POR)
  • Create project execution plans with detailed dependencies

Requirements For Sr TPM, Schedule & Program of Record, Kuiper Technical Program Management

  • 5+ years of hardware, software, system integration and test development of complex systems
  • 5+ years of experience in technical lead, systems engineer, or technical program management role
  • Proficiency with schedule tracking tools (MS Project, SmartSheet)
  • Experience integrating ground and space systems
  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field (preferred)
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with high sense of ownership
