The Kindle Ingestion and Expansion (KIX) team at Amazon is seeking a Support Engineer III to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial in enabling independent authors, content creators, and publishers to publish their content as eBooks for distribution across Amazon's platforms. As part of the KIX Support Engineering team, you'll provide tier 2&3 production support and work closely with Kindle digital product development teams.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work with Amazon's state-of-the-art Print on Demand (POD) technology and contribute to Amazon's vision of providing the world's largest selection of books in both digital and print formats. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting complex technical issues, developing maintenance tools, and ensuring smooth software deployments.

  • Provide support of incoming tickets, including extensive troubleshooting tasks
  • Work on operations and maintenance driven coding projects
  • Software deployment support in staging and production environments
  • Develop tools to aid operations and maintenance
  • System and Support status reporting

  • Customer notification and workflow coordination
