Amazon's REALM Team is seeking a Support Engineer III to join their transportation technology division in Bellevue. This role is crucial in maintaining and supporting 100+ different services within Amazon Transportation Technology. The position combines technical troubleshooting, system monitoring, and software development, making it ideal for engineers who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You'll be responsible for first-level support of production applications, requiring quick learning ability and expertise in handling multiple concurrent tasks. The position involves significant interaction with Development, Operations, and IT Support groups, providing extensive exposure to various technical domains.

As a Support Engineer III, you'll be working with multiple programming languages including Python, Perl, and Shell scripting, as well as performing SQL queries and implementing fixes for internally developed code. The role requires both reactive problem-solving for immediate issues and proactive monitoring to prevent future outages.

The compensation package is competitive, ranging from $67,200 to $150,300 based on location and experience, plus additional benefits including equity and sign-on payments.
